There are signs of foxing evident across all four sheets. There is a surface loss to the collage on sheet IV, approximately 1cm to the upper section. This work is unframed, however mounted to a card board window display. There is foxing seen across the card board mount. It is our suggestion to have the work reframed to ensure the longevity of the artwork

During the 1970s and 80s, Madigan became interested in collage and assemblage. This medium enabled Madigan to move into more geometric work - a development that had stemmed from the influence of her partner, Robert Klippel.
