A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN PLAQUE-INSET TABLE SCREEN HONGXIAN MARK, REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912-1949)
Very finely painted in fencai depicting a gathering under a tree, sealed to the lower left with two seal marks in iron red, one square Hongxian mark (1915-1916), the other a maker's mark, unread. Mounted in a beautiful dark lacquered hardwood table screen with low relief decoration of archaistic clouds.
The plaque 38.5cm high, 25.5cm wide. The screen 65.5cm high, 38cm wide
