Lot 55
There Should Be a Book Written on Italian Men 2010
oil and resin on board
artist's name, title and date on gallery label verso
121 x 161.5cm
Estimate $5,000 - $7,000
There are inconsistencies with the surface texture of the resin, however this is believed to be inherent and from the time of creation. It is framed in a dark ornate frame, with some losses evident. The work bears significant warping, particulary evident in the centre where the work concaves. A hanging system is required to allow the work to sit out from the wall to account for this curve in the centre. Overall size 138 x 177cm. (LEONARD JOEL DELIVERY SIZE: LARGE)
