LY (1009-1225) OR TRAN DYNASTY (1225-1400), CIRCA 13TH CENTURY
Of tall cylindrical form, decorated with carved lotus petals to the rim, lug handles, and incised decoration of scrolling lotus and clouds to the sides, the lotus and clouds in an iron brown glaze against an off white glazed ground.
Height 36cm

Extensive wear to brown glazed decoration, small sections remaining, three out of the four lug handles are broken and the tips of the applied decoration around the neck are chipped, cream glaze craquelured all over, a few small areas of missing glaze
