These works read like animation cells, the artist conveying a simple, sweet movement with minimal detail.

Antonella Masino reveals her affection for cats in her 2D art practice. Her signature process is to draw a cat and then replicate the drawing, resulting in two of the same works. Her style is humble, and presents clear line drawings, coloured sparingly with pencil. Her artworks clearly express a love of cats and the border she places around her pictures add a sentimental element framing her subject within the page. Masino started at Arts Project Australia in 2013 and has exhibited in annual group exhibitions.
