After a design by George Hepplewhite, each with a shield shaped back centred with a pierced splat with wheatsheaf patera and bell flower drops, the padded seat on square tapering stop fluted front legs.

Losses to the inlay to splats on backs, extensively repaired to all chairs specifically, repairs to top rail of one chair, lower left corner of another chair, rear of splat on another, wear consistent with age and use.
