A ROYAL WORCESTER HAND PAINTED AND GILDED VASE
ATTRIBUTED TO ROBERT PERLING, CIRCA 1871

Of tapering form, the central reserve depicting the 1848 painting of 'Alexander & Diogenes' after Sir Edwin Landseer RA, attributed to Robert F Perling, set against a rich teal ground with gilded and beaded decoration, the whole flanked by two handles, each adorned with beaded garlands, all raised on a circular quadripartite foot.
Royal Worcester factory mark to base, above the number 71 (crown faded from mark).
45.5cm high, 16.5cm wide
