Second-half 19th century, the classically draped goddess wearing a wreath of fruit and wheatears holding a cornucopia and (replaced) sickle, standing on a flowerhead moulded square plinth, signed 'Greulich' and stamped to base: E. March Söhne Charlottenburg Berlin.

Overall in good condition with slight surface dirt and marks all over consistent with age, top of cornucopia broken and repaired, sickle replaced, chip and loss to both corners of plinth and mouldings on plinth

Ernst March (1798-1847) was a German pottery manufacturer and after his death his widow Sophie and their sons Paul and Emil ran the business which became the leading terracotta producer in Germany in the second half of the 19th century. The Charlottenburg factory closed in 1902.
