Explosion demonstrates a pixilated image with compositions of red, orange, and yellow pixels. Never straying too far from his inspiration, Invader has used small and discreet Invader icons to create the larger pixelized image. The image refers to the explosions that occur in the popular Space Invaders arcade game, which the artist states as 'the most addictive game I have ever played.'
This print is part of Invaders 'Hello My Name Is…' collection, in which the artist produced between 2007 and 2017.
