There are marks and surface scratches present throughout. There are water marks and stains to the veneer and solid wood base in various places. Minor signs of warping to the veneer along the top edge. Minor sun-fading and discolouration in areas. Minor losses to the veneer to the rear top left and rear bottom left hand side. Signs of wear consistent with its age and previous use. The chest of drawers has no major losses and its unique locking system works as it should. It is structurally sound and overall in good condition.
