Olympia: Photographs by Polixeni Papapetrou, National Gallery Victoria, Melbourne, 7 September 2019 - 15 March 2020 (another example).

With a title drawn from a poem by Lewis Carroll, Phamtomwise was shaped around a serendipitous event and inspired by her biggest inspiration, Olympia. During a rainy day, after watching Pocahontas, five year old Olympia put on an Indian Brave mask and insisted that she be photographed. This was the beginning of a wonderful series by Papapetrou.
