The moulded cornice above a square dial with turned columns to each corner above a plain trunk door and base; the brass dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes and date aperture, rocaille engraving to the centre and rocaille spandrels, the 30-hour chain driven movement signed Porthouse, Barnard Castle.
