A SEVRES PORCELAIN JARDINIERE ('CUVETTE COURTEILLE', 2EME GRANDEUR)
Blue interlaced Ls mark with date letter j for 1762, with an oval gilt reserve finely painted in colours with a quay scene with sailors, on a blue and pink scrolled ground flanked by panels of ribbon-tied garlands, the sides and reverse entirely decorated in rose marbré with gilt, the back panel centred with a circular reserve painted with three peaches, tulips and other flowers, the painting attributed to Charles Nicolas Dodin.

Hairline crack to back panel (vertical approximately 11cm), firing crack to left hand corner on interior, repair and small amount of restoration to rear right foot and also on rear toes of front right foot, small brown spot in sky on central reserve
