In our opinion, the iolite is medium to dark slightly bluish purple with moderate saturation, some typical inclusions are eye visible, some minor scratches to the facets. The mounting displays scratches, commensurate with age and wear. Can be polished easily.

The ring is of good workmanship with signs of wear consistent with age and use, not noticeable when worn.

Overall condition is very good.
