Early 19th century, the circular tilt-top inlaid with baskets of flowers with birds and insects within a leaf scroll and checkered borders, on a triangular tapering pedestal triform base terminating in lion paw feet.

Top has been polished and has good colour, and contrasting marquetry, there are superficial scratches to many places and also four old splits to the veneer where the carcase has expanded, there are small losses to the veneer on the edge of the top and the frieze, the base also has a few splits to the veneer with movement in the carcase timber and has wear consistent with age and use.
