Maker's mark possibly that of John Cox, London 1768, the hinged double domed cover with pine cone finial, scrolled silver handle with ivory insulators, the baluster shaped body decorated with repoussé rocaille flowers and scrolls.

Height 25cm, Weight 796g

Overall wear consistent with age and use, elongated oval shaped repair to lower edge of the body where it joins the base, separation to insulators.
