In our opinion the citrine is slightly brownish orange, medium saturation, with typical inclusions. Some nicks, chips, abrasions and scratches to the facets and facet junctions. The pearls are of decorative quailty. The mounting displays scratches, scuffs and some discolouration, commensurate with age and wear.

The brooch is of very good workmanship with signs of wear consistent with age and use.

Overall condition is good.
