Lot 62
Modelled as a graduating line of 5 clusters, each centring a collet-set old European-cut diamond within a frame of rose-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 1.20 carats with connectors channel-set with emeralds, suspended by an 18ct white gold chain, mounted in platinum inner circumference 400mm, gross weight approximately 9 grams.
Estimate $1,600 - $1,900
In our opinion, the diamonds are probably of J-K colour and SI to Pique clarity, as gauged and graded within the limitations of the cutting style and the mounting. The mounting displays some scratches, scuffs and patina commensurate with age and wear, evidence of later repairs.
Emeralds are of commercial quality, 1x emerald deficient.
The necklace is of very good workmanship with signs of wear consistent with age and use, not noticeable when worn.
Overall condition is very good to good.
