Lot 60
Of geometric design, centring two collet-set old European-cut diamonds, with in an openwork pierced plaque set with old-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 1.00 carats, mounted in platinum, size M1/2, gross weight approximately 4.1 grams
Estimate $3,800 - $5,000
In our opinion, the centre diamonds are bright and lively, probably of J to K colour and SI to pique clarity, the small diamonds range from J to O colour and SI to pique clarity as gauged and graded within the limitations of the cutting style and the mounting.
The mounting displays minor scratches, scuffs and patina commensurate with age and wear.
The ring is of very good workmanship with signs of wear consistent with age and use, not noticeable when worn.
Overall condition is very good.
