In our opinion the mounting displays scratches, small gauges, some areas of discolouration, evidence of later repairs and drill hole at cresecent point (perhaps for bale attachment) commensurate with age and wear. Seed pearls are of decorative quailty, one defiecent.

The brooch is of good workmanship with signs of wear consistent with age and use.

Overall condition is good.
