A Georgian example with whistle and coral teether, set with bells, maker's mark SW; the other in the form of a bell with a mother of pearl teether, Birmingham 1936, maker's mark Mappin & Webb.

The Georgian example: judging from the design it appears to date from the mid-18th century but there is no assay mark, possible repair to join where whistle connects to central knop and another possible repair underneath knop, some dents and wear consistent with age and use.
The mother of pearl example: slight bruise to mother of pearl, wear and dents consistent with age and use, split to silver ring attaching mother of pearl.
