明 銅博山爐
博山爐又稱博山香爐、博山香熏、博山熏爐，是中國漢、晉時期民間常見的焚香所用器具，其出現與燃香原料和人們的生活方式有關。西漢之前，人們使用茅香，雖然香氣馥郁，但煙火氣很大。武帝時，南海地區的龍腦香、蘇合香傳入中土，並將香料製成香球或香餅，下置炭火，用高溫將這些樹脂類的香料徐徐燃起，香味濃厚，煙火氣又不大，因此出現了形態各異、巧奪天工的博山爐。詩仙李白的詩句：“博山爐中沉香火，雙煙一氣凌紫霞”，說的就是博山爐熏香時香煙繚繞的迷人意境。
本品圓口淺腹，外側勾勒高騰的浪花，腹底接高足，整體近似馬上杯的形制，爐蓋邊緣與爐身的海面相契合，同樣表現洶湧的波濤，上方鑄起峻峭起伏的山巒，層層疊疊形態不一，宛若熊熊燃燒的烈火，與底下的海浪相結合，呈現出無比宏大的氣勢。爐體爐蓋均以古銅為料，色調深沉，莊嚴古樸，富有歷史的沉澱感，獨特的造型則是集肅穆與華麗於一體，玩味十足，渾然天成。
