The white enamel dial signed Cellier AParis, with arabic hours and date numerals within a beaded and basket weave ormolu bezel and tied laurel and oak branch apron, suspended between ormolu mounted white marble supports on black marble plinths with putto caryatids and Wedgwood plaques, the base centred with a sunflower and flanked by foliate scrolling ormolu panels, on engraved toupie feet, surmounted by a swagged urn and flanked by a pair of laurel-wreathed lyre finials.
