Centring a brooch/pendant of foliate motif, detailed with single-cut diamonds, suspending a detachable textured locket pendant with star-set single-cut diamonds, the reverse featuring a painted miniature 'Lover's eye' portrait by Robyn Rich based upon the 1890 portrait of Gabrielle Cot by William-Adolphe Bouguereau, to a detachable cable link chain completed by a bolt ring clasp, French marks to chain, locket diameter 20mm, brooch/pendant length 35mm, width 40mm, necklace length 520mm, gross weight approximately 24.9 grams.

Robyn Rich, artist, works predominantly in small scale in the tradition of miniature paintings. Her technically masterful paintings are steeped in themes of initmacy, memory and devotion. Recently, Robyn's self-portrait miniature Between Silence and Seeingwas shortlisted by the Royal Society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers, London.
