The pearls are in good condition. This is a mid century piece with individually knotted pearls. The pearls are cultured and a cream colour with good lustre. They is no evidence of damage on the pearls and they hang in balance and as originally intended.

The diamond clasp is robust and secure with the diamonds secure in the claw settings. The diamonds are devoid of chips and abrasions. 

The clasp can be used with each strand of pearls so they can be worn as a single strand or as a double strand.
