Rectangular, the top with moulded edge above a pair of doors with fielded panels enclosing three original sliding trays, a pair of drawers below, on bracket feet, the drawers retaining their original gilt bronze pulls, the inner side of one door retaining an applied card inventory label with printed heading 'C.H.' followed by '41 / 1942' in pen and ink, a paper label to the back inscribed in ink 'Mr Howard's Bedroom'
