Structurally sound and generally in good condition consistent with age and use, with typical minor shrinkage gaps and cracks around joints (not affecting the joints themselves); slight knocks and wear to the gesso surface and decoration, especially around edges and high points; and general surface dirt, including to the interiors.

The locks operate (albeit stiffly with the one key present, which is not original). There is some wear to the keyholes; if these ever had metal inserts, they are lacking.
