The doll modelled seated on a gilt-wood arm chair, on a stepped velvet covered base, with a bisque-head, very deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, carton torso and lower arms and legs, wire upper arms and legs, with original silk and lace costume, with wooden bobbins in her hands, when wound, music plays, her head moves up and down as though watching herself knitting, and her hands flit to and fro, realistically, as though knitting
46cm high, the base 27cm wide, 30cm deep
