By Gudin, Paris, the white enamelled dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, signed 'Gudin A Paris', with pierced gilt hands, the case composed of rocaille flowerheads and foliage surmounted by a female figure gesturing and two gesturing putti below on stylised cloud scrolls, the movement with striking bell also signed 'Gudin A Paris'.

In untouched condition with surface dirt wear and tarnish to the original gilt, the lower section seems to have been partially cleaned (?) and has some verdigris, dial with chips to enamel around keyholes, possible section of metal missing on top right hand side, movement not tested, no key but has pendulum.
