The eight-day movement with anchor escapement striking on a bell, the silvered Roman numeral dial with subsidiary seconds and calendar dials within foliate brass spandrels, the glazed hood with shaped top (formerly with finials) and an arched and moulded cornice above flanking brass-mounted Corinthian columns, the trunk of typical form with a door with shaped top above the moulded plinth base on shaped bracket feet
