Potted by Merric Boyd and decorated by Doris Boyd, of slightly spreading cylindrical shape with an everted rim, decorated to one side with a group of trees in various colours on the light grey ground, incised underside 'Merric Boyd / 1938'

one small hairline crack to the glaze at the base
some surface scratches and scuffs in places
