Lot 13

ANTIQUE DIAMOND RING

Property of a Private Sydney Collector

Modelled as two flowers, the stamen of one collet-set with an old mine-cut diamond weighing approximately 0.03 carats, mounted in 18ct gold, size G, gross weight approximately 2.2 grams.

Accompanied by a box.

Estimate $300 - $500

Sold for $2,400

In our opinion, the diamonds are bright and lively, probably of G to H colour and SI clarity, as gauged and graded within the limitations of the cutting style and the mounting.

The mounting displays minor scratches commensurate with age and wear.

The ring is of good workmanship with signs of wear consistent with age and use, not noticeable when worn.

Overall condition is very good.
