A CHINESE INSCRIBED ARCHAIC BRONZE WINE VESSEL, JUE, LATE SHANG /EARLY WESTERN ZHOU DYNASTY (12TH-10TH CENTURY B.C.)
The vessel is raised on three blade-form supports, and the sides are finely cast with two taotie masks divided by narrow flanges against a leiwen ground, one mask is further divided by a flange, while the other divided by the handle emerging from a bovine mask with a cast standing human formed clan sign underneath.
商晚期/西周早期 青銅爵(公元前12至10世紀)
器作三棱刀形足,腹壁精鑄兩組饕餮紋,以細扉棱分隔,地紋為雷紋,其中一組再以扉棱分隔,另一組則由牛首形鋬分隔,鋬下鑄立人形族徽。
