Lot 158
Centring a collet-set pear-shaped citrine weighing approximately 4.40 carats, within a frame accented with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 9ct gold, length 30mm, gross weight approximately 3.4 grams.
Estimate $300 - $500
In our opinion, the citrine is of yellowish orange hue with moderate saturation, relatively eye-clean, some minor nicks to facets junctions. In our opinion, the diamonds are bright and lively, probably of J to K colour and pique clarity, as gauged and graded within the limitations of the cutting style and the mounting.
The mounting displays very minor scratches commensurate with age and wear. Can be polished easily.
The pendant/enhancer is of good workmanship with signs of wear consistent with age and use, not noticeable when worn.
Overall condition is very good.
