A CAST IRON GARDEN BENCH SEAT IN COALBROOKDALE'S 'NASTURTIUM' PATTERN
Probably 20th century, after Coalbrookdale's design registered in 1866 under number 195629
The back and open scrolling supports cast with designs of trailing nasturtium leaves and flowers, the seat of hardwood slats, the back cast below the mask crest 'C.B. DALE Co.' above the registered design number and the diamond registration mark, the rear seat rail cast with 'COALBROOKDALE', the design number and diamond mark also cast to the inner side of each support
