Lot 129
The four lights in a tapering cylindrical frame, the parapet of the frame and the top of its conical cover with various decorative cast mounts
146cm high (overall), 56cm diameter (approximately)
Estimate $1,200 - $1,600
Generally in good condition consistent with previous use, the metal parts showing typical light exposure-related oxidisation.
The 'glazing' is in fact clear acrylic. There is a small area (approximately 2 x 2cm) of concentrated scratching towards the top of one pane.
The wiring appears to be intact within the lantern but, as the electric cable is cut off at a point above the lantern, it is not possible to confirm the operating condition of the four lights.
