In George III manner, the top lined with original blind-tooled dark brown leather above a central frieze drawer and the pedestals each with four drawers, on tapering square feet with brass casters, inlaid throughout with borders and stringing in satinwood, holly, and other woods

Very well presented, previously repolished, with this polish showing little wear.
There are old cracks in the base moulding adjacent to the tops of the supports to the rear of the kneehole but no associated movement or instability.
The leather to the top, apparently original, has typical superficial marks and stains but is well preserved.
The brasses are original and all locks are present but with no key for these.
