The brooch is in excellent condition commensurate for its age. It has been carefully looked after. The pin is straight and secure in the trombone clip. The clip mechanism is in good working order.
The diamonds are in excellent condition devoid of chips and abrasions. They are secure in the settings and the claw settings are secure.
The millegrain is in good condition and even throughout the brooch.
Under XRF analysis the brooch returns a reading of PT Platinum
The pin tests at 18ct gold and is stamped 750. Hallmarks on pin.
