Overall condition consistent with age and use. The gold mount shows general surface wear, light scratching, minor dents and areas of rubbing to the high points of the repoussé and chased decoration. Some minor distortion is evident to the applied floral and foliate elements and chain swags. The yellow gemstones show surface abrasions, facet-edge wear and small chips/nicks visible under magnification. Settings appear generally intact, though all stones and applied elements should be checked for security prior to wear. The articulated pendant drop remains mobile. Brooch pin fitting present with wear commensurate with age. Evidence of old repairs or solder work may be present. Gemstones have not been removed from their settings for assessment.
