Full leather, the contemporary mottled calf boards rebacked; apparently complete with an engraved frontispiece portrait of Sir Robert Walpole, four engraved folding plates of floor-plans and elevations of Houghton, and an engraved frontispiece portrait of Lady Walpole preceding the final part of the work; book-plate of the Reverend S. Harper to the front paste-down; early pen and ink annotations to the floor-plans and as occasional corrections to the text.
