A DUTCH TIN GLAZED TEA CANISTER AND COVER TOGETHER WITH A SIMILAR PLATE

The tea canister hexagonal in form, decorated in-glaze with a ‘Lambrequin' pattern in the Oriental manner, marked ‘AG 4.1' in blue to underside, circa 1850
The De Klanis lotus edge plate painted in-glaze in blue with central of flowers and grasses, surrounded by four similar panels in shaped reserves separated by lambrequins, circa 1725


13cm high, 19.5cm diameter (plate)

Sold for $200

Overall condition good, minor wear to paintwork in places. Small repair to the rim on the plate. Losses to glaze. Crazing throughout to canister.
