TWO FIRST PERIOD WORCESTER PORCELAIN SAUCE BOATS
18th century


The first a 'Chelsea' shaped sauce boat with an ear-lobe handle decorated in under-glaze blue with a flower spray on each side and a scroll pattern on the interior of the rim, circa 1757 - 1759, together with a moulded cream-boat with a gadrooned edge and moulded handle with leaf thumb rest, painted in under-glaze blue with the 'One-Porter Landscape pattern, circa 1765.

The largest 7.2cm high, 10.5cm wide

Sold for $400

A hairline to the rim of the larger sauce boat. No visible damages or repairs to other sauce boat.
