Crown wind and set movement, circular white dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial at six, 18ct gold case with engraved monogram to lid, movement signed S Smith & Son, 42mm diameter, suspended from an 18ct gold fetter link fob chain with swivel clip, total length 440mm, together with an 18ct gold sovereign case with engraved monogram to lid, including two full gold sovereigns dated 1910 and 1929.

Glass is missing from pocketwatch. Currently not ticking and not recently serviced or timed. Some gold missing from the winder exposing base metal beneath. Hallmarked London 1886, Fetter link chain is hallmarked, some wear to the ends of the links, total weight 42.4gms, Sovereign holder has some overall wear to outer case, inner spring works well to contain sovereigns. Hallmarked 1891. Weight of sovereign holder without sovereigns is 23gms.
