The teapot circa 1780, the decoration circa 1830
Circular form, with a strap handle with a moulded acanthus leaf terminal and an 'S' spout, the fitted cover with an acorn finial. Later decorated by Thomas Randall at Madeley, England with Sèvres style panels of exotic birds with finely detailed raised gilt borders on a deep cobalt ground. Blue double L mark to underside of base and lid.
14cm high, 18.5cm wide
Total height 14.2 cm.

Overall condition good, small chip to the edge of the spout. No visible repairs.
