TWO GERMAN PORCELAIN TEA CANISTERS
Second half 18th century

The first by Höchst, decorated in red, puce, green, blue and yellow with European flowers, red wheel mark, circa 1765.
The second by Fürstenberg, decorated with a continuous oriental landscape with two people on each side in pale neutral colours with gilding to enhance the canopy. Under-glaze blue ‘F' to neck, circa 1770.
11.5cm high, 7cm wide

Estimate $300 - $400

Sold for $350

Overall condition good. No visible repairs. Minor losses to gilding in places. Three small chips to smaller canister.
Both lacking covers.
