A COLLECTION OF ENGLISH AND CONTINENTAL PRUNUS DECORATED PORCELAIN
18th & 19th centuries




The first a round Sampson pot with domed cover, moulded with sprigs prunus in the Chinese manner, Impressed ‘StC' over ‘T', Copying an 18th century St. Cloud pot. circa 1880.
The second a Bow coffee cup and saucer, decorated with applied prunus sprays, 1750s.
The third a rare Vauxhall coffee cup, decorated with an applied spray of chrysanthemum to centre and two smaller sprays on each side, circa 1753 - 1754, together with a Capodimonte saucer dish decorated with three sprigs of prunus blossom, circa 1745 and a Bow prunus decorated pistol grip fork handle, circa 1755

The Bow cup with a hairline to the handle, and a hairline and two small chips to the rim. The Bow saucer with one area of repair remeasuring 9cm wide and 4cm deep
Vauxhall cup with two chips to rim
The Capodimonte saucer with a repaired hairline running through the dish (13cm long) and associated repairs measuring 9.5cm wide, 2.5cm deep
Small chips to base and minor chips to rim on the Capodimonte saucer.
The Bow handle with some light staining and minor wear and losses
