18CT GOLD AND GARNET NECKLACE, CIRCA 1870
Modelled as a coiled serpent, the mouth suspending a heart shaped drop pendant with a locket to reverse, both the head and pendant finely engraved throughout and set with garnets cut en cabochon, the body formed from an integral fancy link chain completed by a concealed box clasp, length 385mm, gross weight approximately 15.0 grams.
